Dear Friends and Family,
Thank you so much for praying. Amos is now HOME and we are so very thankful! He and Will got home late last night after the usual difficulties that we have found to always accompany discharging from a hospital. In the end, they broke out! Amos and Will are both thrilled to be home and Lukey and I are delighted to have them back. Thank you for walking with us this week through such a difficult and strange time for us. Your texts, prayers, messages, meals, and other kindnesses kept our hearts going.
At this point, Amos has recovered from the nasty RSV virus and the lung infection, although it took almost two weeks, a lot of professional care, and four different antibiotics. Even now that he’s feeling so much better, he still needs lots of rest as recovering from spending a week in bed is no small thing. Please pray for continued health and strength for Amos and that the rest of us would follow suit.
Tonight we celebrated Christmas Eve with a deliciously British dinner of roasted goose (graciously given by friends) and new Christmas jammies (from Gram and Gramps).
We are very grateful for the One who came to sustain us all and to bring light to the darkness. I am reminded again this year of a line from one of my favorite carols that never meant much to me prior to these past two years,
“He comes to make his blessings flow, far as the curse is found.”
May we all find our hope and peace in the blessings that are given through Christ.
Much love to all,
Kelli, Will, Amos, Luke, and Baby
So so pleased

Merry Christmas to you and your beautiful family. We talked with Barbara the day t after Christmas about your hard weeks and now preparing for a new “little one”. You have probably often thought of Mary and Joseph and their being away from home and family help as you have traveled these rocky roads. May our Lord continue to bless and heal your precious son. Your family is truly an inspiration to us Sue & Bill Casey

P.S. I’m sure that the roast goose was delicious. How did the jammies taste? (-:
