Amos Ross Updates

Hello Friends,

It’s hard to believe we are halfway through June! I hope you’re all finding ways to enjoy these early weeks of summer. We wanted to update here with our much-anticipated surgery date and travel plans. Amos, Will, and I will be traveling to California on June 27th for Amos’s surgery, which will take place on June 30th. This surgery will be with his original neurosurgeon, Dr. Bill Loudon, at Hoag in Newport Beach. For those of you new to the blog or Amos’s story, Dr. Loudon has been a constant and skilled doctor and friend to Amos since 2015. It will be wonderful to see him and his wife, Ruth, after many years apart!

Please pray for the surgery to go perfectly on the 30th and for Amos to not have any residual negative impact. Please also pray for traveling mercies to and from CA, that Amos would be healthy throughout the trip, and for the kids at home to do well in our absence.

As expressed in earlier posts, we are so grateful for this option but it’s still a surgery involving the brain. We are praying for the Lord to watch over and protect Amos during and after. Please join us in these prayers!
