Hi Friends,
Please join us in praying for Amos’s MRI today at 12:30pm PST. He’s in CA with Will and Lukey and we are praying for good results, showing no recurrence of cancer. As always, we are thankful for the chance to see Amos’s team in CA and are reminded of the Lord’s goodness in preserving Amos these last four years.
Today is in fact four years, to the day, since Amos was rushed to CHOC for emergency brain surgery. We note these milestones with many emotions. We’ll update when we hear the results of today’s scan but I wanted to leave you with these words from my morning devotion, from Paul Tripp’s New Morning Mercies, June 25th,
“God knows what you too are facing. He sees well the brokenness that is all around you. He is not in a panic, wondering how he’ll ever pull off his plan with all these obstacles in the way. Don’t be discouraged. God has you exactly where he wants you. He knows just how he will use what makes you afraid in order to build your faith. He is not surprised by the troubles you face, and he surely has no intention of leaving you to face those things on your own. He stands with you in power, glory, goodness, wisdom, and grace. He can defeat what you can’t, and he intends these troubles to be not enemies that finish you but tools of grace that transform you.”
“Have I not commanded you? Be strong and courageous. Do not be frightened and do not be dismayed, for the Lord your God is with you wherever you go.” Joshua 1:9
Love in Christ,
Kelli, Will, Amos, Lukey, Sam, and baby
Wonderful words we read them too here in Philly with Jonny Jackie Ben and Zac. How we need reminded of such promises in these uncertain days re: adoption of Zac.

Kelli – Four years . . . what a journey . . . grateful you & Will have been following Jesus the whole way. I just wanted to thank you for including the quote by Paul Tripp – it was a timely reminder for me. Love & prayers in Christ – Jean (met you at Cresheim Valley Church years ago)
