Prayer Request

Dear Friends and Family,

Please pray for Amos who is currently in the hospital here in Cambridge. Ever since returning from California, he’s been unwell and has been in and out of the emergency room due to breathing issues, mostly. He’s had good care and has tested positive for the RSV virus- something we now know is no fun at all especially so for someone with Amos’ history. Over the course of the last week we haven’t seen improvement and his breathing issues have worsened.

Doctors now suspect an additional infection is to blame. Please pray for speedy, clear results to the tests that have been done today, a positive response from Amos, and for Amos to be home for Christmas in good spirits. Please also pray for our hearts as this is not the Christmas we anticipated and have looked forward to for so long- especially in light of last Christmas when Amos was just finishing up his last round of chemo.

I am also full term now so please pray that the baby does NOT come until we get through all of this.

Thank you all so much for your continued prayers.

“For I am the LORD your God who takes hold of your right hand and says to you, Do not fear; I will help you.
 -Isaiah 41:13

In Christ,

Kelli and Luke (at home) and Will and Amos (at the hospital)
