Dear friends and family,
Over the last two days we have gotten some final details on Amos’s surgery tomorrow (Monday 3/17). Again, it will take place at Duke Children’s Hospital in Durham, NC. We will check in at 6:00am and the surgery will begin around 7:30am. So please do pray for him first thing in the morning! We’ll drive to Durham this evening and spend the night there.
We are not sure how long the surgery will be, or how long we will be in Durham. We are hoping for a few days, but it could be longer, depending on how Amos does.
This weekend has been fairly restful for our family as we have prioritized being together, so we are very grateful for that. Amos continues to be in good spirits, and has loved opening and reading many cards from friends and family who are praying for him.
We will try our best to post something after the surgery to let you know how things went. Please pray for safe travel tonight, a good night’s rest, and God’s blessing on Amos.
But you, O LORD, are a shield about me,
