Change of Plans

Dear Friends and Family,

Thank you so much for praying for Amos’ eye surgery yesterday! We won’t really know the full results until we see his doctor again next week, but the surgery seems to have gone well. Dr. Boisvert was very pleased with how it went and Amos’ eyes look much more aligned than before! Praise the Lord for this and thank you again for your prayers!

Amos handled everything yesterday like a champ. He is so brave! We are continually amazed at what he so patiently endures. He came home yesterday looking a little rough- with puffy bloodshot eyes- but that’s normal following the surgery he had. He looks better today but I’m hoping he feels better than he looks… Please pray for a quick recovery and that his eyes wouldn’t bother him. Also, he seems to have come down very suddenly with a cold. He’s a hot mess of snot and boogies at the moment. The poor lad! Please pray for swift relief.

In light of the eye surgery being a bit more taxing than we had thought and now the cold, we’ve decided to postpone the nasal scope and the port removal. We didn’t intentionally schedule all of these in a row so it seems best to move them out and give Amos some time to take it easy after yesterday.

Thank you for your prayers!! We are so grateful. Yesterday was a harder day than we had anticipated but we are so glad to have the eye surgery done and pray that Amos’ eyes respond perfectly with no additional surgery needed. We’ll keep you posted on the other appointments!

May you all rest and rejoice this week and weekend in the salvation of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, knowing that he has overcome the grave. The sting of death is no more for those who trust in Him. Glory, hallelujah!

“O death, where is your victory?
O death, where is your sting?”

The sting of death is sin, and the power of sin is the law.

But thanks be to God, who gives us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ.”

1 Corinthians 15:55-56

Love in Christ,

Kelli, Will, Amos, and Luke

  1. Dear Kelli and Will,

THANK YOU SO MUCH for the updates. I read them very carefully, so I can pray informed.

You all are such a testimony – holding on to the Lord with a firm grip, and spreading the fragrance of Christ wherever you go or post (your updates).

May the Lord bless you and may Amos’ healing continue until it is complete.

Thinking of you, praying for you.

Have a blessed Easter Week, With much love, Tina (Lisa’s German friend 🙂 )
